Accomplit is the training brand of 1st Byte UK Ltd. 1st Byte UK itself was incorporated in 1997 when Bonhard Thistle Ltd, (a Scottish company), relocated from Perth to Southport.
1st Byte UK Ltd. has operated across numerous organizations throughout the United Kingdom and abroad, across a large range of Information Technology and Business Consultancy topics. Technical areas covered include Microsoft, IBM, Linux, VMWare, and Lotus technologies, and services have included troubleshooting, development, architecture, analysis, business processes, ITIL service management and cloud technologies focusing specifically on Microsoft Azure.
Organizations we have served over the years include the Health and Safety Operative, WM Co, Siemens, ScottishPower, Siemens, Britannia Life, Britannia Building Society, British Nuclear Fuels, Sellafield Ltd., Springfields Fuels, National Nuclear Laboratories, KPMG and the Welsh Government, among others.
Creating a training practice seems a logical direction to take after these many years of gathering experience and capabilities, and now as CompTIA Authorized Training Partners and Premier Members, Microsoft Authorized Training Providers and IBM Partners we feature certified trainers able to deliver official certified courses, using official certified courseware, in subject areas from Microsoft, IBM and CompTIA.
We pride ourselves on professional and effective deliverance of certified courses, in professional classroom environments – but we also endeavour to provide value for money by understanding each client’s unique perspectives and conditions to ensure an emphasised focus on areas of most concern to each specific customer – while still fully covering the official courseware. In that regard we are happy to offer bespoke courses, made up of the aspects of official courseware combined with selective “deeper-dives” most relevant to your specific needs.
We also offer the alternative of bringing our trainer to your location, which often provides an ideal solution. This approach reduces the time your staff are taken away from the workplace, keeping them on site to support business continuity. Additionally, your direct costs are greatly reduced by eliminating travel, accommodation and subsistence costs for those staff attending the course.
Other efficiency measures can include spreading courses over several half-days rather than full days, with smaller groups of trainees attending either morning or afternoon sessions. This works especially well with technical sessions, as most technical training can only be delivered to small groups (usually no more than four or five attendees). This also works well when one trainer is able to deliver two different subjects to two different audiences – a specific example might be Azure Administrator skills on the mornings, and Azure Developer skills on the afternoons – or perhaps alternating a technical subject with a business subject, such as ITIL. Alternatively one of our consultants could be providing bespoke services and workshops during the half-days when not delivering official courseware.
Additional value is also often possible because the trainees can then take time between training sessions to review the course material and consolidate their knowledge, before returning to training the following day with better informed questions which the trainer can also then take away for review if necessary.
It costs nothing to talk to us and brainstorm up an approach to deliver the right training for your staff, at the right time, and for the right rate. Use the contact form to get in touch, and we’ll get back to you for a confidential discussion as soon as we possibly can.
